![]() I would not change our policies even with this disappointed review. I am sorry the weather was so hazardous, but I and the Navajo Nation are not willing to put guests in harm's way and these warnings are not issued until at most 24 hours before. I am not able to communicate with the guests whom the booker has chosen not to divulge their contact info. If they are not able to go on an alternate date, my company and my vendors like Transportation/Viator will refund them immediatety. If they do not show up on the agreed alternate date, they are refunded on that date. ![]() If my guests are able to attend on an alternate date, I hold the seats for them and keep in constant communication with the person who booked. Book at GetYourGuide One-Day Private Grand Canyon National Park/Sedona Tour This full-day tour from Phoenix begins with a hotel pick-up and a magical drive, passing through San Francisco Peaks and the Navajo Reservation, before stopping for lunch at the Cameron Trading Post. ![]() You would be pressed to find a more mesmerizing landscape than the red rock formations of the Arizona desert, and the Phoenix area has a unique multi-cultural vibe. On the rare occasion the weather is dangerous like this, the National Weather Service and the Navajo Nation will issue their warnings/closures less than 24 hours out to be sure of the forecast. Day trips from Phoenix include incredible hikes, historical Native American sites, and interesting cities. And for the Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend tour, the Navajo Nation will shut down the Canyons when there is flooding for the safety of the guests. Its proximity makes it one of the best day trips from Phoenix, especially for those. There were several traffic fatalities due to the winter storm during these warnings and I will never put any of my guests in that danger. Oak Creek Canyon lies just outside Sedona, about 120 miles north of Phoenix. The only time we cancel a tour is when a dangerous "Do not Travel" winter weather advisory is issued by the National Weather Service in the high country north of Phoenix which is the direction we have to travel to get to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend.
